Understand the job
Your receptionist asks for the details you need to assess the work, using the questions and service area you set. Not every enquiry needs your immediate attention.
What happens between answering the call and booking the work?
Can Infercall find out whether a job is a fit?
Yes. Infercall asks what has happened, when it started and where help is needed, using your services, service area and intake questions. A caller can describe the problem in their own words; they do not need to know the name of the repair.
Can it book an appointment during the call?
With Google Calendar or Square connected and booking access set up, Infercall can create an appointment during the conversation. With Calendly, it creates a scheduling link for the caller to finish booking. You choose the appointment types and booking times. Booking an assessment is different from diagnosing a fault, quoting an unseen repair or dispatching a technician.
What happens to urgent enquiries?
Set the questions and contact instructions your business uses for urgent calls. Infercall gathers the relevant details and can try to connect the caller to your team. Your emergency instructions stay in place; Infercall does not replace emergency services.
